E.P. Rly. Grant of extraordinary family pension to Shrimati Gurdev Kaur (on behalf of her minor son Jaswinder Singh) W/O late Shri Balwant Singh, Estate Inspector, N.W. Rly. Lahore. Sanctioned. Decision also taken that where the heirs of the deceased railway employees have not claimed the benefits of the prescribed scales of pay, they should be given the benefits of which ever would have been the higher rate of pay i.e. either on the Prescribed scale or on the scales of pay to which the employees were previously subject for the purpose of granting Extraordinary family pension and or Gratuity. This would not affect the question of granting arrears of pay and allowances
