I.R.A.S. Recruitment of the following probationers in the I.R.A.S. through the combined competitive examination held in 1950:- 1. Mr. R.K. Shastri. 2. Mr. M. Ramji 3. Mr. Som Nath Bhatt. 4. Mr. K.S. Gupta. 5. Mr. K.C. Bose. 6. Mr. B. Madhvan. 7. Mr. R, Sarangarajan. (b) Consideration of the request from Mr. R.K. Shastri for permission to apply for the I.A.S. etc. examination to be held in the year 1952 :- Permission granted necessary leave to prepare for the examination. (c) Consideration of the request from Mr. C.L. Chaudhry, a probationer in the Military Accounts Department for transfer to the I.R.A.S. Board agreed but the Ministry of Finance (Defence) refused to spare Mr. Chaudhry. Matter dropped. (d) Consideration of the question of policy to be followed in cases where candidates recruited to various services, again apply during probationer y period for permission to appear at a subsequest examination. Decided, in consultation with the Min. of Home Affairs to make provision in the Recruitment rules for recovery of pay etc for the period of probation in such cases
