Annual report of C.L.C. on the working of P.W. Act and employment of Children Act in Railways during 1957-58. Record of discussion at the meeting of the C.P.O's. on 10-11-1959. As a result of the discussion, only the North Eastern and Eastern Railways favoured the existing system under which the FA and CAO or DAO or WAO were nominated as 'Pay Masters' under the Payment of Wages Act. Other Railways did not experience any difficulty in nominating the executive or personnel officers the case may be as 'Pay Master' under the Payment of Wages Act.
