Reference from the Central Railway regarding the training of special Class Appreatiees of the 1946 Group at the Staff College Baroda and their appointment to working posts. Decision that (1) the period of training at the Staff College, Boards, should from part of the normal probationary/appreaticeship period and should be included within the prescribed period of training of a Probationer/Special Class Apprentice. (2) (a) the Special Class Apprentices should be appointed as Probationers in the time scale only from the date six years after the date of appointment as Special Class Apprentices or the actual date of completion of training whichever is later and (b) They should be confirmed in the junior scale only on completion of 3 years of Probation or the date of successful completion of Probation whichever is later. (3) The seniority later of the Special Class Apprentices of a particular group will, however, still be determined by tha merit order on the completion of the 4 years training at Jamalpur
