Question whether deductions on account of supply of uniforms to children of railway employees going to railway schools would be covered by the item use of railway schools which has been authorised by the Central Government to be regarded as amenities and services under section 7(2)(e) of the payment of wages Act, 1936. Decision that children of railway employees drawing pay above 225/- per month studing the Railway Primary Schools may be supplied in the uniforms and the cost thereto recovered from the pay of the employees concerned subject to the fulfilment of the provision of section 11 of the payment of wages Act 1936. Ministry of labour and employment agreed to deductions being made in such cases under 7(2)(e) of the payment of wages Act 1936
