Repeal of sub-sections (4) and (5) of section 31 of the Indian Ports Act. 1908, and addition of a proviso to sub-section (1) of the same section empowering the Governor General in Council to exempt from the provisions of that sub-section sailing vessels o any measurement not exceeding a specified measurement. Exemption in the Port of Karachi of sailing vessels of any measurement not exceeding a measurement of 500 tons from the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 31 of the Indian Ports Act. 1908.
