Decision that the Honourable Sir R. N. Reid, member of the Executive Council of the Governor of Bengal, cannot be permitted to draw his leave allowance in India while spending his leave in England. Question of amending the Leave of absence allowances Rules so as to permit the high officers to whom leave is granted under Section 86 of the Government of India Act to draw their leave allowances in rupees even if their leave is spent out of Asia.
