Stating that under the crtificate furnished by captain I R Oldfield oif Engineers learing the signature of Lt. Col. chater asistant adjt. Genel. of the army the presidenct in council sanction the alowances as a field Engineers fom the 8th to ther 18th Nov. 1849 leaving pased tothat officers.
