Last reports on a despatch from th esecy. at fort St. George regarding the Allow. of Supg Surgeones returning from Europe with advertce to the Memo. of Surgeons Davidson application against the rule surgeons is considered a staff appoantment & conseqently restricting the nomica to the Regt. Pay & allow. of his Rank until he assumes Charge of his Duties.
