In reply to a Despatch of the 19th ult. observasthat as H,M's regn. and those of the Bomaby presy. are in favor of the claim of lieut. brenan H.M's 22 foot and late Provast mashall in scinde to share in the seinde Prize money as a coptain it must in the present instance be admitted and states that the Govr. Genl. deems it highly deswirable that the Bombay rule which assigns the pay and allaees of Captain to individuals holding the appaintment of proost Mouhsalled shauld be assimitated to the troactive which obtains under this Presy and that of fort st. George o.p. returned.
