With reference to G.O.29th Octr.& to a lr. of the 31st Decr.1847 submit copy lr.from the directors of the Ganges canal works,furnsihing a report on conductor gair & the value of his services to the canals, recommend the appointment of Mr. Gair as an actg. Asst. Exe. Officer in the D. of P.Works under the directors of the Ganges Canal Works.
