In continuation of his letter, no. 38, of 4th Ultimo, transmits, for information & record, copy of Communication from the Adjutt. Genl. of the Army, intimating that the Commander in Chief will not fail to reduce the number of captains on detached employ from the 14th Regiment Native Infantry, as required by the Honble Court in their Dispatch of 22nf October last.
