With refrence to mily Department letter no 99 of the 2nd Instant, relative to certain propositions of Captain king, Her majestry 32nd foot, for dispensing with the audit in Bengal of teh account of detachment s invalids, proceedings, to Europe va Bombay and for revising the staff appointments with the such Detachments state, that the system as at present existing having for years worked exceedings, well he is not aware, of any reason why alteration should now be made, and that the Regulations sanctions the appointments, of an ajudtant, to a Detachments, of Invalids, consistions of 200 rank and fele should no necessity Exist, for such apointments, with invalids, a saving to the extent of Rupees 1215 or 18150 mothly will be effected accordings, as the detachments, amy be proceedings, by land or water.
