In reply to mily. detp. ltr. no. 518 dated 22nd ultimo, as to the dispsoal of 142 satle of surplus gear made up for remounts form the sebarmptore stud observer tha ta contraxt allowance of 6 Rs. per house, inlucidng all risks in receifved by the oficers appointed to take charges of th remounts.
