In reply to his letter Office Despatch no 595 of the 18th January last.With refrence to a letter of the 28th january last, states that the Colonial treasure has been instructed to pay to mr.and Carrol late, quater master 18th Royal trish the sum of ruppes 1137-9-3 there in mentioned and debit this Government with the amounts.
