In reply to his depatch no 810 of the Instant.. Reports for Consideration that in august last, Captain farron, 11th Madras N.I brought round from Vizagapatam ,a charger belonging to Major Davis , of the same corps, and informed him that vohen the Regt. embarked of moulmein an the fenas serim, it was found impracticable to take the horrs an goard, awing to a high Surf that was running on the days of embarked that it was printed out to Captain farran that the proper Courrse for major Davis to purssue would be to get the horse round by private arrangement and to forward a certficate of having been value to embarked his charges form Vizagapatam to the madras govt.
