In reply to his letter of the 26ultimo no 285.States the circumstances conected with the Case of lieutt Vincent ,30th Native Infantry who was appointed to do duty with the 1st Assam light Infantry Battlion by G.O5th Decr 1845, and abtanied leave , while in progess to join, to enable the Audit Department to adjust that officer Pay and allowances.
