with reference to extract Mily. depart. no. 220 datd 12th instant intimation that Govt.. are unable to comply with the application of the resident Mr. Cincent Roman Catholic 6 rist at meerut to have his salary raised from 80 to 100 Rs and requesting the Mily. depart. efort to crling to notice in whenever a change shall late place in the strenght or circumstances of a force a correspondence alternation of the amount of the allowances assigned to the roman catholic president in accordance with the arrangment contemplated by the late Gover. Genel. when the wncreased of allowance referred to was granted at the several Mily. station in the N W provinces by the order of the 19th oct. 1847.
