With refrence to office memo of the 24th march last, intimating that on the arrival in India of Lt. Brevet 15th Native Infantry, enquiry would be made repecting his claim against that officer for Rupees 4,476 states that he has every reason to believe that the Lt is still in England, and that his leave is not for one year but for 3 year , on medical Certificate, and there fore forwarded to Court as the loss he is now sustaining by the delay is very great.
