In reply to Officiating Secretary's no. 585 of 1st Instant reports that Serjeant Major Davis 70th & Buston 34th Native Infantry having served 21 years without Conviction before a court Martial & being of irreproachable Character, would appearentitiled to th gratuity & Medal on Discharge notices an amission in the Roll of the former which Should be corrected. Adverting to the limited sum of the entire sum allowed for these gratuities suggests for reasons as signed that recommendation of this Nature be submitted annually.
