With reference to G.O. no. 664 of 27th dec. 1850 submits for orders copy lr. from lieutt. E. V. Utters on 27th Regt. N.I. just retuned from Australia giving cover to a crtificate and soliciting that the leave of absence granted to him may be extended to 5th current under the ciorcumstanse stated.
