With refernce to genl.order govr.genl.in council no. 829 dated 30th Decr. 1852 the permission granted to captn. Geroge Parris Salmon of Arty. to retire from the service of the East India Compnay on the pension of his rank will have effect from the 6th Instead of the 8th march.1853.
