Stating in reply to his letter 1427 of the 12th ultimo relative to a propostion for incresing the pag of the native officer non Commissioned officer and Privates of the Scinde camel Baggage Corps who have been employed in the lae Campaign that in the opinion of th H.P in Coucil the Claim of the men of that corprs to any increase of pay on the occasion in question is with refrence to the high rates of consolidated pay Enjoyed by them in all situations to the object . for which the corps was raised and to the terms on which their monthly recipts were originally fixed madmissible.
