Instructed by the Honable the President in Council to transmits to you for submission to the Right Honable in Governer General the accompaying Despatch no 73 dated the 8th Inatnat. from the Mily Auditor General suggesting with refrence toa Claim to Compensation on account of 62 Horses of th 9th Irregular Cavy stated to have been rendred unseviceable in the Cab Campaign that same rule established to serve the Govt. from the heavy expense now incurred by horses of the Irregular Cavy being rendered unservecable whenever a Corps of that arm is employed on service.
