Allipore Jail reporting his having requested the Officer Commanding the Calcutta Native Militia to send a guard Consisting of 1 Mavildar, 1 Naik and 12 Spoys, to accompany the Converts on board the Steamer Tinasserim to their destination, under the Circumstances set forth, f& Suggesting that it would save numerous & of it recurring references, it be & the Commandant of the Militia were respectively Authorized to Call for Escort Transmits also copy Correspondence with the Superintendant of Marine Containing a report of the Circumstance's under which the Military Guard to asent the Prisoners sent to Moulmain & Arracan by the Steamer Tenasserim, which left this Part on the 12th July last Happened not to be applied for.
