Intimatign in reply to ltr. no. 2359 dated 11th Dec. 1849 taht the rule a quoted within is equally applicabel to regards and asst. Surgeon and that Dr. berwick being in medical charge of the 5th batt Arty. is accordingly only entileed to the extra allowances of 100 Rs.
