Transmits, for information & necessary orders, copy Correspondence with the Quarter Master Genl. of the Army, stating made proposed for giving the Time at Simla, by Signal to the Ghurree at the Commander in Chief's Quarters to regulate every other Ghurree at the place, would prove unsatisfactory, and Authorizes a Party of 4th Havildar & 8th Privates of the Native Artillery Company at Meerut being orderd up to Simla, for the purpose to firing the Noonday Gun & Salutes, & adding that aggarngements with be made for providing a small Guard & store Room near to where the Guns are placed.
