Intimating in reply to letter no. 8635 of 22nd Ultimo, that the Bond of Indemnity for Rs. 2,000 by Captain Reid Officiating Executive Officer Upper Assam and sureties has already been executed and deposited in the General Treasury on the 28th December 1849 and the usual certificate issued to captain Reid on the same date.
