Submit for Consideration & orders, copy Correspondance relative to a proposal by Capatina Gerrard, Deputy Assistant Commissary Genl. for planting Trees in the Bheer of pasture land of the Hissar Farm, & a small outlay by that Officer in anticipation of sancion by the Board, and with reference to the fact of no orders having been communicated to Captain G. on the subject, & to that Officer's report Contains nearly 4000 Trees, state that the Majority of the Board Consider that the plantation will prove beneficial to the Cattle; & therefore recommend that the Charges hitherto incurred for palnting the Trees may be admitted, & an Establishment retained sufficient to preserve the young Trees without further increase to the Plantation- Lieut. Coll. Mactier with hold his assent ot this recommendation & offers observations.
