In continuation of his letter no. 1974 letter from the Political Agent in the Cossyah Hills, & of the reply thereto; State that the Agent propsese that, as a temporary measure, a few Hundred Kookies should be armed with Muskets, & palced under the Command of an active European Officer; & further recommends that all condemned Muskets belonging to the sylhet Lieutant Infantry should be handed over to the Superintendant of Cachar for distribution among the Fruntier Villages.
