With refrence to a letter of 18th feby. last, transmits. for publication , a G.O directing that the corps of sappers and pioneer shall here after be desingated the Corps of Bengal sappers and miner that the distinction betwen the sapper and pioneer companies is to be abolished and the Corps is to be increased from 10 to 12 co's of the present strength that the Corps will be excelusively officer from the Corps of Enquiry that in the mean time the Infantry.
