With reference to Govt.Despatch of the 14th Instt. intimating that Lieut.Storde Late H.M's 61st foot, is only entitled to Punjab Donation batta as ensign reports that in obedience to a lr. of the 28th June 1850 he passed donation batta in the grade of Lieut.on accts of that officer.
