W Agnew of the 23rd Native Infantry junior Asst. to the Comr. of Assam, which is refd. for the decision of the G G with refer to the request of the agent G G and Comr. of Assam that officer may not be included in the operation of the G G O of 30th Jany 1851 remanding to their corps officers who have failed to pass the prescribed examination in the Hindoostanee language by the 1st of that month and allowed an apportunity of appearing before the college authorities at Fort William on his return from the cape of good hope wheter he has proceeded on leave for two years on medical certificate.
