With refce to an extt. of the 29th utl. transmits for information copies of despatches from the Adjutt. Genl. of the Army regarding the grant of a donation of 2000 Rs. for the erection of a catholice chapel at subathoo and to the finl. Dept. having been requeed to issued the necessary orders in fulfilment of the promise made by Govt. in 1845 for the grant in question.
