With reference to a lr. of the 14th July 1841 requests to be furnished with a copy of the lr. from this deptt. to the secy. at Bombay dt. 12th Jany. 1844, authorizing the full staff allowance of Captn.West, A.D.C. to the gover. of Bombay, to be passed to him during his residence within, the Bengal Ferritories & Offering observations.
