In Continunation of his lr. No.153 of the 27th July last, transmits copy one addresed to the adjt. genl. of the Army, admitting the claim of astt. Surgeon Baker, H.M's. 18th Regt.to Indian allowances from the date of his arrival at Bombay as a charge to the gover Genl. of India but will eventually be a charge to the crown.
