With refer. a letter of the 29th Sep. last, transmit copies of a letter from the Depy. Acount. Genl. & enclosed explanatory communicatin from Liuet. Webb 38th Madras N.I. & of a letter from that officer on the subject of the demands against him, also of a lettr from the Mily. Audr. Genl. with statement of the pay 7 drawn by that officer at Madras and Bombay.
