With refce to G.O.2.S 26th sept. last and adverting to instructions from Hors Guards as to sending Home a proportion of non-commissioned officers and privates of Regt. ordered to England for the purpose of training and drilling Recivts recommends that a Passage may be pronided for a party of H.M's 9th foot noted within with the Inalids of the season and requests that a copy of the reply to this application may be forwarded to the officer commdg. the 9th regt. and to the brig. Major 2.f. requests also that sanction be given for a passage for a Detacht. fo the 62n Regt. under charge.
