Acknowledged the receipt of despatch No. 3606, of the 8th Ultimo, and in reply to transmit to you, for the information of the Madras Government, the accompanying General Order No. 218, issued by the Right Honble the Governor General of India in Council this day, publishing the amended Roll, forwarded by you, in substitution of the one contained in G. O. No. 31, of the 16th June last.
