Forwards a Despatch from Major Pew of artillery reporting the completion of the Camel battery and its being named by the 2nd Co. 6th Bn arty and soliciting that the rates of Horse and construct allowance laid down in his table may be sanctd and that the supply of forage & ca for the cpm be extracted to the Captn in Charge His exy's of opinion with respect to Horse allowance that 2 Horses to the Captain. and one to each subathu would be sufficient and not to the extent required by the Major and in respect to that of contrast.
