With refer. to the annexed copy leter & enclosure from teh Asstt. mily. Secy. reports that the Dey. Commy. Genl. has been instructed to discontinue pay in the allownce of Mrs. Peaks H.Ms. 18th Regt. an accoutn of the Indian Govt. from teh 1st Oct. 1843.
