Question of the grant of travelling allowance at first class rates to all Deputy Magistrates and Deputy Collectors in charge of sadder sub-divisions in the area constituting the late province of Eastern Bengal and Assam. Rejection of the proposal of the Government of the Punjab that all Extra Assistant Commissioners, whether in the executive or judicial line, should be rated as first class officers for the purpose of travelling allowance regulations.
