With reference to Lord Kimberley`s Despatch No. 83, dated 22nd July 1886, transmits a copy of a communication from the Government of Bengal, and requests that the stellar spectroscope, referred to in the despatch, may be forwarded to the Government of India for the use of the Laboratory of the Presidency College, Calcutta.
