Sanction to the temporary excess of 3 Assistant Commandants over the sanctioned strength of the Assam Rifles, owing to the operations in the Chin Hills and Manipur and the grant to them of the pay and allowances of Assistant Commandants of Military Police with travelling allowances under the Civil Service Regulations.
