Decision that when an Officer of the Indian Medical Service is granted a definite period of study leave and finds after arrival in England that his course of study falls short of the sanctioned period, his absence from India should be reduced by the excess period. Instruction that the rules regarding the grant of study leave to Indian Medical Service Officers may be more carefully observed in future.
