In continuation of Despatch No. 7, dated 26th February last, transmits a Special Narrative from the Government of the North-Western Provinces and Oudh, reporting the circumstances under which the Hon`ble Douglas Straight has been appointed to officiate as Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature for the North-Western Provinces.
