Replying to Letter No. 53 dt. 10th July 1860 relative to the extent of the territorial Jurisdiction of the Supt. of Port Blair. Approves of the orders that have been issued & suggests for consideration the expediency of laying down some definite instructions for the guidance of the Supdt. in regard to the exercise of Criminal Jurisdiction in the places now under his authority over persons other than Convicts.
