Proposed examination of all the functions in the Chief Commissioners` Provinces which under any existing Indian Law as for the time being in force are functions of the Provincial Governments, with a view to decide what particular functions at present exercised by the Chief Commissioner should continue to be exercised by them or what other functions not exercised by them at present should be delegated to them.
