Decision (1) that Viceregal investitures are held by H.E. the Viceroy, and not by His Excellency in his capacity as the Grand Master of the Indian orders. (2) that the investiture as the ceremony should be performed according to the order of orders.(3) that the seats of the decores should be arranged according to the classes of the various orders.(4) that the seats for H.E. the Commender-In-Chief and the Ruling Princes and Chiefs who happen to be decores should be in their respective groups and not with other decores; & (5) that the Foreign and Political Department should be responsible for the issue of invitature to relatives and friends of the decores.
