Proposals of the Jail Committee (a) to raise the pay of Inspector General of Jails, Punjab, to Rs.1,800 a month, and (b) to increase the salary of a Supdt. of a first class Central Jail to Rs. 1,200 after eighteen years` service in the Jail Department.
